The City of Pelham is currently accepting applications for the full time position of Pro Shop Manager at the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena. This position is responsible for ordering and maintaining the inventory of the pro shop for ice skating and hockey equipment and products. The manager is also responsible for coordinating private lessons, skate school lessons which includes collection of fees, payments, etc.
Other duties include but are not limited to: assist in organization of annual ice show; developing a working relationship with vendors; coordinating with skate school director and hockey director for classes, camps and other events; developing or creating improvements for pro shop inventory or displays; assigning and managing part-time employee schedules for skate school and hockey. It is desired that the manager possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a minimum of two years’ experience in sales and customer service skills. Candidate must be able to develop a working relationship with children of all ages.
Salary and benefits beginning at $40,000.00, based on experience, education, and other training.
