ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOUNTING SUPPORT ~ CIVIC COMPLEX & ICE ARENA:
The City of Pelham is currently accepting applications for the full time position of Administrative Accounting Support for the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena. This position is responsible as the first point of contact for the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena by greeting customers and clients either in person at the facilities or on the phone; takes reservations for birthday parties and other group activities at the Complex. Operate point of sale system; petty cash; deposits; closing shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for opening safe; counting petty cash; money bags from point of sale registers; prepare deposits & reconcile. Operate point of sale system.
- Responsible for closing shift and resolving any problems;
- Schedule all birthday parties and other activities which will include ordering food, soft drinks, etc. Follow-up confirmations; assist in set up when required.
- Assist or monitor large events in Main Arena or Banquet Hall, when required.

Previous sales knowledge, customer service skills, general bookkeeping /accounting skills. Must maintain valid driver license.
