As the need for water increases, so does the demand for safe and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment. The potential for commercial growth in a municipality without a proper wastewater system is practically non-existent. Residential developments with sewer systems also benefit because of higher property values and the elimination of potential environmental problems associated with septic systems. Pelham's sewer department, like the water works, is in a constant state of growth and improvement.
